Created as a series of five short performances, each individual performance focuses on a specific four archetype: the maiden, the mother, the wild wisewoman, and the performer. “Barenaked” is an invitation for the viewer to deeply immerse themselves in the question of identity and how intimate connections are forged between their singular selves and the vast universe. Mixing electro and pop music, vocal tracks, smoke, light sequences, magic tricks, and video projection, I engage all the viewers’ senses in a “waking dream” and create a passageway for them to leave behind the mundane and discover the magical.
